For the 21st time, Kaunas Chamber of Commerce has invited representatives of business, government, academia and social partners to a traditional annual community evening.
This grand event of the business community of Kaunas and Marijampolė was hosted by TV presenter Ignas Krupavičius. Among more than 350 guests there were the Chairman of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania Viktoras Pranckietis, Minister of Justice of the Republic of Lithuania Elvinas Jankevičius, members of Seimas of Republic of Lithuania, mayors of the municipalities of the region, business representatives and other honorable guests attended this event.
During the opening speech Kaunas Chamber of Commerce thanked the Mayor of Kaunas City Visvaldis Matijošaitis for raising awareness of Kaunas city and congratulated him on receiving the honorable Order of the Emperor of Japan.
“This award is an excellent measure of the success of the entire Invertus team. We are delighted that this year brought new events and partners, including PrestaShop Connect Baltics, the largest e-commerce event in the Baltics, organized together with PrestaShop and participated in the “Rinkis Prekę Lietuvišką 2019” event in partnership with the exposition center. We hope that next year will bring even more opportunities for growth and expansion.”
The economy of the Republic of Lithuania is open to international competition, and the country’s economic development and human well-being are closely linked to exports. A large share of gross domestic product (GDP) is generated by exports of goods, works, and services. The Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce and their association, in order to develop the export of products, works or services rendered by Lithuanian companies, to evaluate and publicize the tendencies of this process and to use favorable conditions, organized the competition “Lithuanian Export Prize”.
During the following event Invertus has won the Small Export Award. Linas Gudonavičius, CEO of Invertus, said: “This award is an excellent measure of the success of the entire Invertus team.
