QA Lead

About the role

To make our strategy work, we are looking for an experienced and ambitious QA Lead. The ideal candidate will fully own and drive the QA team strategy crucial to our success and be directly subordinate to the CEO. QA Lead Responsibilities:

  • Build a test-driven engineering culture that drives improvements in quality.
  • Implement process changes to scale testing efforts across multiple products.
  • Plan, develop and execute test coverage for multiple platforms
  • Identify, test, track and report KPI trends throughout the projects.
  • Work closely with the engineering team and project leads to triage and prioritize issues for resolution.
  • Develop and maintain the OKR’s of your team to efficiently align your vision and efforts with other teams.
  • Own and take full accountability for the team’s budget.
  • Own the process of building and maintaining the QA team.
  • Develop the vision and strategy of the QA team function of our organization to ensure our client’s businesses grow.
  • Partner with Automation and Infrastructure team to leverage automation to allow better reliability and scalability
  • Support Account Management and Sales team to help them create a superb customer experience in the course of the project.
  • Consult external and internal stakeholders on Quality related issues and trends.

Qualifications. Good understanding of:

  • WEB development process.
  • Project management methodology and practice.
  • Manual and E2E automated testing.
  • Business processes and how should they be analyzed.
  • System documentation requirements.
  • The process of building modules and the ability to draw clear responsibility lanes between the module and primary system.
  • Sales process, stock management, delivery, and payment processes.
  • Ability to build and structure team performance management.
  • Ability to see the big picture of department processes and structures.
  • Experience in managing black box and white box testing.
